    Transfer to Alleppey Houseboat

    After breakfast at your hotel, it's time to check out from Alleppey hotel and do a bit of shopping in local market. Then you'll check in to your houseboat by 12:30 PM. Your afternoon unfolds with a serene backwater cruise, showcasing the picturesque views and local life along the waterways. Savor a delicious Kerala lunch onboard as you relax and take in the tranquil surroundings. By 5:30 PM, the houseboat will anchor in a peaceful spot for the night, offering you a unique opportunity to experience the serene ambiance of the backwaters under the starry sky. You'll enjoy a Kerala dinner onboard before retiring for the night on the houseboat.

    Departure from Alleppey

    Awaken to the soothing sounds of the backwaters and savor breakfast served onboard. Your journey through the scenic backwaters continues from 07:30 AM, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty. Around 9:00 AM, it's time to bid farewell to your floating abode. Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time to explore Alleppey's local attractions or shop for souvenirs.

    • If a guest is accommodated on a houseboat, sightseeing services will not be provided.
    • Due to prevailing climatic conditions, Munnar and Thekkady do not offer air-conditioned rooms.

Cancellation Policy

    In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

    22- 30 days prior to arrival: 15% of the Tour / service cost
    15 - 21 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
    08 - 14 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
    0 - 7 days prior to arrival: 100% of the Tour / service cost

    The above said cancellation policy will not be applicable for black out dates.

    No refund will be provided for cancellation during running trip or for any unused services/ absence from a tour.

More Information

    Houseboat

    • The check-in time for the houseboat is 12 pm, with a check-out time of 9:00 am. Additionally, there is no cruising in the lake between 05:30pm in the evening and 7 am in the morning, as fishermen deploy nets during this time its government rule. The houseboat anchor nearby riverside for the night stay.
    • Management is not responsible for late arrival or early departure.
    • If a guest is accommodated on a houseboat, sightseeing services will not be provided.
    • For any special requests, we request to inform us in advance to the arrival date, as the houseboat has limited facilities and resources.
    • The presence of flies, small insects is the Natural Habitat in Backwater. It cannot be 100% eliminated. The presence will be there at night in lights (Deluxe and Premium Houseboats)
    • A/C Policy: In the Deluxe Houseboat, air conditioning is operational only in the bedroom from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, while the Premium Houseboat offers full time air conditioning only in bedroom. Meanwhile, the Luxury Houseboat full-time A/C available with glass covered.
    • Maximum number of extra mattress / coats provided in a room is one on additional charge.
    • Smoking is prohibited in Houseboat.
